Should I be receiving upgrade offers when using a non-AA FFN? I haven't had any in app offers on my past couple of flights (domestic and short haul international), but in my upcoming trip traveling with someone using their AA FFN we are getting offers.
I don't get any offers with my Alaska number in the reservation, seems to only be Alaska elites on the upgrade list that are effected. I contacted AA about it since I'm sure it's a glitch, and after the initial bot reply they told me to talk to Alaska Airlines about the issue. Which of course Alaska has nothing to do with AA's app or upgrade offers. Frustrating as I may take advantage of it sometimes but can't.
