My first short haul LH Business Class sectors in almost 15 years, so I'll compare these to what I'm used to in Europe - BA Club Europe.

Breakfast trays and drinks were hand run from the galley on this lightly-loaded early morning sector. In comparison to BA's hot full English breakfast served on this route, this tiny cold cuts plate with pre-placed warm roll and croissant was pretty sad. The yogurt was completely devoid of taste.

On the plus side, I appreciated the design detail of the German cities and their landmarks printed on the tray liner - but you can't eat the tray liner. I also liked that the cutlery pack included a useful wet towel, which BA has long since enhanced away.

The orange juice was from concentrate.

I appreciated the chocolates that LH hand out from a large box towards the end of every flight.

Dinner trays followed by drinks from the trolley, with a choice of warm bread from a basket. A mediocre salad, but a decent attempt at a proper dessert - certainly more than the pot of mush BA serve. Chocolates from a large box followed with hot drinks.
