Upgrading a VS flight using DL miles - applicable fare codes
The question is effectively in the post title.

Due to fly on a DL ticket but VS metal. There is award space for Y-PE upgrades using miles, albeit at what seems a fairly steep 55,000 miles each way.

The agent i spoke with suggested only H, Q or K fares are upgradeable. Is that correct?

Alternatively, is it possible to use VS miles to upgrade? Do they limit that to certain fare codes?
