It's not compliant but as others have said, on BA in Club it will certainly be tolerated. Having said that, I'd point out the BA sizes are the most usual within Europe and some airlines - not least low cost will be stricter in size enforcement. So if all you care about is this trip, go for it, if you think you might have other trips to Europe or Latin America in the future, this might not be the wisest choice.
