I'm bumping this maps thread, as opposed to its 2023 counterpart, because I find the discussion to be more on point and extensive.

My current take is that you need to pick either Baidu or Tencent for your detailed solution, but probably not both (e.g when you receive a location message in WeChat, you can choose either)

In cases where detail isn't so important, my current solution is Organic Maps (offshoot of Maps.me). Based on my understanding, these products are similar to what you Apple guys have by default.

With respect to computer interfaces, I honestly don't tinker with anything other than maps.baidu.com.
