WN 737 max faces pressurization issue ex-KOA 5/16

A friend met some distressed passengers at KOA yesterday, when WN6130 (KOA-OAK, N8713M) seemingly experienced a pressurization issue around 200nm off the coast of the Big Island. According to the pax, oxygen masks were deployed, and the flight began a rapid descent to around 14,000ft (the pax said lots of other pax were crying due to ear issues). Flight returned safely to KOA.

Curious if anyone else knows more? Obviously very concerning, and surprised I haven't seen anything else on this.
