I should think you’d be fine. I have a carry on that is literally within half an inch of BA’s maximum dimensions all round (recommended some years ago on this forum). I have only ever had to put it in the sizer once for BA, so it does happen. I was flying in Y as a Silver though so more likely to happen on a full flight.
