Map on BA flights
First time posting here, so apologies if I am missing something.
I usually fly UA across the pond but recent moved to Blighty so a new convert to BA. Flying BA back to EWR tonight and realized that the HUD option on the inflight map has the Airspeed in knots, the wind speed in m/s and the ground speed in km/h. Three different metrics, with the addition of vector in the wind speed, Now, I don’t know about the rest of this group, but I last did this conversion was when i took a degree in physics 20 years ago. BA seem to be expecting an awful lot of its passengers to make that math worth, or maybe it is only us poor Americans who forgot elementary schools math and now need a calculator!
