Thanks! I'm aware of the posted sizes and - alas - I did not post that the BA limit is 22" length versus 23" length for this brand. And, as you suggest, I stated I'm concerned that this is a hot mess of aggressive marketing. What I'm interested in is if anyone has the versions of these popular suitcases - adding in the Travelerpro Platinum Elite brand - and had experience with BA. And part of the problem may be the US model where bins are not used extensively as long as someone isn't trying to bring a sofa as a carryon and the model I've seen more often in Europe where every bag is checked for size. Thanks again for any information - and again, I'm quite cynical on their claim but always like to check against my own cynicism with real world experience.

I should add - the flight from EDI is an A319, which I haven't flown but imagine tends to be smaller overheads.
