Monos Carryon Plus and BA Sizing
Greetings everyone!
The Question: The Monos Carryon Plus is marked as compliant with British but is sized at 23x15x9. Does anyone have experience with Monos Carryon Plus (or the Away Bigger CarryOn) in terms of the sizing bins?
Full context: We're traveling to UK in CW (Sea-LHR) and CE (EDI-LHR), are doing combinations of trains, planes and automobiles. At least two of the places we're staying have laundry so we're looking at new carry on luggage as our current ones are looking a little worn after 20 years. I'd love to have the extra room compared to most carry on luggage, but I worry that we will end up checking bags from EDI-LHR and then need to exit to claim our bags and re-check (I made the rookie mistake of booking the EDI-LHR separate from the SEA-LHR-SEA). I'm not worried on time - we have 4 hours in LHR - but I would prefer to spend those hours relaxing, feeding my daughter Wagamama (Don't ask. We have incredible ramen places here in the northwest US, but her introduction to ramen was Wagamama years ago and it's her comfort food now) and having a quick drink at Galleries, as well as letting my children just experience T5 (They've done T3, which is great but very different feel IMO than T5). I'd love some real world experience on whether that Monos website that marked a bag as compliant when sizing is off compared to the BA website, as my initial instinct is to run away.
Thanks, bj
