Visiting for two nights in with my family in the end of June and had some questions about our visit.

Is it best to do a cash withdrawal using our bank ATM card somewhere at the airport? We have a credit card with no foreign transaction fees. Could we just use that for everything? What kind of tips do cabs and hotel porters expect? How about restaurants?

Are trips like beach and sand dunes doable this time of the year? I assume heat becomes tolerable in the late afternoon?

I will be with my 8-year old. Any suggested activities off the beaten path he might like?
