I have an update on this. At MAD now. 465 is showing an hour delay. Went in the Club Europe queue at check in (using my OWS, I should add, rather than going somewhere I wasn't allowed!) and the desk agent was more than happy to put me on the 463 leaving earlier, even on a HBO fare and 075 (IB) stock. Happy days!

(Only thing was I had to give up my exit row aisle seat, though she did offer an exit row middle which I agreed to.)
