Last month, I faced a similar dilemma when I was contemplating giving my old laptop to charity or selling it. But I ended up keeping both of my Windows laptops. I had purchased a new HP touchscreen laptop (I love me a touchscreen). As a bit of an old-school enthusiast, I enjoy listening to music during my jogs, and for that, I rely on my Apple iPod Touch. To update my music selections, I installed iTunes on my new HP, only to realize that the latest Windows version doesn't support it, rendering iTunes inoperable. Had I sold or discarded my old laptop, I'd currently be SOL without the proverbial paddle.
