I forgot to mention, with CX I know your options are likely limited booking with miles, but on the TYO-HKG flight I'd try to avoid the 773 (that's the non-ER 777-300 that's fairly common in Asia for high density shorter routes, not the 77W) and some of the A330's as the seats are pretty craptastic, worst case it's only a 4 hour flight, but if you can get one of the A350 flights you'll have a much better seat.
Thant's a good point. I think the flight I'm looking at will be the 773 - hopefully I'll get lucky and bag one of the refurbished ones as I understand they're starting to undergo their refits this summer. From HKG to LHR I've got the option of the 773 or A350 so I'm pretty flexible on that one. Depends on how many 773s have been fitted with the Aria Suite.
