Renting in Europe for about a month from FRA in June, as I have been doing for a number of years now as Five Star. Recently status matched to PC. I've always rented Intermediate class and used to get decent upgrades (Giulia, Jag XF, 3 series, etc). The past few years though, I've been assigned not-so-exciting vehicles like Ford Focus, Seat Leon, and Peugeot 508.

I'm wondering whether booking Compact Elite class, which is a bit pricier than intermediate, might earn a better upgrade as PC, or if it would not qualify for an upgrade at all since it's "compact" elite. I feel like I saw an upgrade chart for Hertz at some point, but can't locate that in the forum any more. Anyone have experience booking this class with status and what, if any, upgrade resulted?
