As a benefit of my Marriott Bonvoy Titanium status I am now a United Silver Elite. To reach gold or higher do I need to start from scratch or does my silver status serve as a starting point to build from? Our local regional airport is not served by United so I don't fly United very often but my circumstance are changing so I am looking at my options. I am also considering the United Infinite card.
