Wondering the same thing - they will shut me down, I assume, but hoping I can do a few loops and maybe do a $35k or so in a 2 day period, then see what happens...
For those who are banned at WM, any idea what the threshold might have been? I know this is a new development, but I'm assuming they are going to start listing by name, not just phone number and begin blocking names.
First, WM isn't doing this for fun and games. Setting up and obtaining this information isn't cheap. And I cannot imagine why WM would be interested in who is purchasing MOs either. That should be the purview of the bank or company that is backing them.
However, I suspect that the Feds are putting the clamps on them. And I think that as the DB builds, those whose phone #s hit a certain threshold will then be asked to provide official ID and eventually when that person hits a MO milestone, they will be restricted to only so many MOs in a day/week/month. Why cut out a good customer completely

However, it may just be easier to ban someone from buying MOs so that isn't off the table.;
However, just like the USPS, the good times are going and activity like the above will probably just be a fond memory.
(and as an aside, haven't seen too much activity on the renewed USPS thread about being able to buy MOs. at the USPS..either
