I've been denied in these circumstances, and specifically told AC*G doesn't have UC arrival access (they then scanned my onward boarding pass for that evening and was allowed entrance...)

Edit: To keep on the topic of this thread and to the original question, arrivals access at AC lounge is an Aeroplan privilege, not a *G privilege. Who knows what a given agent might allow, but per the access rules this case should not be granted access.
