There is indeed absolutely nothing of interest around the hotel (I include the O2 stores and restaurants which hold no interest to me personally) and you need to take the tube to go anywhere interesting (yes there is only the Jubilee line, lots of buses at that station as well but am unfamiliar with them)
there is the cable cart ofcourse
pretty sure there’s a driving range but yeah nothing much outside The O2 vicinity other than a pub a longish walk away
