Platinum card, tried twice after AF posted to get retention but there was none. About 45 days afterwards, I was curious about cancelling and getting prorated AF reimbursement but was informed that was not possible. After some chit chat I was offered a $250 statement credit on 3K spend in 3 mos. Thought it was odd but I took it (obviously).
You can no longer get any refund for canceling but if you downgrade to Gold or Green you can get a pro- rated refund for the AF on the Plat card and will be charged a pro-rated amount for the AF of the gold or green.
