Dumb question, but my GE expires Feb 2025. If I renewed now and it processed quickly (mine have typically gone through in a few days) would I lose the remaining 9 months that I currently have left, i.e would the expiration date then be May 2029?

I guess the question is would it be better to renew now or wait
