Greetings....I see lots of information out there pertaining to complimentary upgrades on PAID travel on AA as an Alaska elite, but I can't find anything regarding AWARD travel. Essentially, my question is does AA treat Alaska elites on AA award tickets the same as they treat their own members when it comes to upgrades?

I'm an MVP Gold 100K (OWE). Booked award tickets using my Alaska miles on an AA-operated flight (booked into "T" class). Will such a reservation be eligible for complimentary upgrades? And if so, should I ask AA to split my record (currently 4 pax in one record) to two records of two pax each (for upgrade purposes for two of us)?
