Detailed review of my stay in May 2024

- Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes, great stay.

- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked cheapest rate and was upgraded to One King Junior Suite City View

- How are the rooms?
Around 70 sqm large.

Creative contemporary design.

Seating area, desk.

Large and very comfortable bed.

Bathroom with bathtub and separate walk-in shower/toilets with Washlets. Byredo Blanche toiletries.

Nespresso coffee machine.
Partially free minibar.

Flat screen television set with basic selection of international channels including HBO. No Chromecast.

Very quiet.
View over the city

Usb sockets close to the bed. Huawei phone induction charger. Electrically operated curtains. Air purifier
No free PressReader.

- How is the exec. lounge?
Large and well designed.

Very impressed by the quality of service: proactive, attentive and smiling staff.

Excellent breakfast with à la carte menu.
Afternoon tea with delicious pastries
Very good evening buffet with hot and good selections.

International newspapers including Financial Times, Wall Street Journal and New York Times.

- What was good and what was bad?

GOOD

Great place to enjoy the vibe of Sanlitun district
Very pleasant club lounge with attentive service and elegant atmosphere .
Excellent breakfast at main restaurant
Very nice indoor swimming pool and fitness centre.
I was offered to have access until 9pm to the club lounge the day of departure, as I had a late flight at 11pm.

BAD
Nothing.

- Value for $ or IHG One Rewards Points? Would you return?
The hotel is very pleasant by mixing trendy atmosphere and very good service.
