First of all I would like to excuse myself for being a total newby on these topics.

I am flying with UA9299 in 10 days. But this code keeps getting a lot, and in my eyes weird cancellations.

It has been cancelled for 50% of the flights in May and also the flight tommorrow is cancelled.

So what I see here for this specific date for example is changing of tail (other plane?). This just seems like a mess and I am very worried since I NEED to be at the location the day my flight (hopefully) leaves. But now it just feels like a 50/50 gamble.

Is there anyone here who can make sense out of this?

Found some more info

When they change the tail from OO SFX to OO SFJ the flight gets cancelled and they use the SFJ plane for other flights.

What are they doing and how is this acceptable?
