you think That not allowing you to have your company sponsor your partner travelling in business class to accompany you on a work trip means they have no respect for work-family life balance? I think that’s putting the threshold quite dramatically high tbh. Note that technically, this could also land the company in hot water with tax authorities who may not be convinced by the work- family argument for such a swap either.
