I am not convinced of much by this article. If they were banning people, they would do it by account and just disallow purchases - allowing purchases but then trying to block tracking seems both disingenuous and more difficult. They could also limit the amount of cashback per month or lifetime, or any number of other things that would make more sense.
They are also still paying out miles on transactions that don’t track automatically once you send a request in. Again inconsistent with trying to block someone.
The blog doesn’t present any evidence for a “cashback ban list”
I've made several orders since this started, a few of which have tracked, and neither of these theories would explain why it did/did not.
