Yes, Al Maha is PP. However, although this has not been updated on the PP website, there are now two Al Maha lounges. The "old" one close to the bear, that is ridiculously overcrowded. In February 24 there was a long line downstairs in front of the escalator to get to check-in even at 4pm, i.e. well outside rush hour. The second one is in the new north area and less crowded. During rush hour also this lounge was full, thus we got upgraded to the Oryx lounge right next to it (with PP). The main difference is that in the Oryx lounge there is a staffed bar. While in Al Maha there is only one type of red and white wine for self service on offer, in Oryx you can get e.g. a Gin Tonic. There was also some quite decent pasta on offer. Don't remember any "edible" warm food in Al Maha. And, shower rooms were readily available in Oryx, no booking necessary during rush hour, just walk in. As far as I remember there are no shower rooms in the "new" Al Maha, only in the "old" one.
