If lounge access figures in to the equation, paid or otherwise, it's worth bearing in mind that *A lounge access in FRA is going to be better than in CDG. Last time I went through CDG, there was no *A lounge in my intra-Shengen departure terminal, and while the seating in the gate areas was plentiful and nicely spaced out, the food offerings were meagre. In contrast, one might argue about FRA lounges being at the top or not (I'm in the not camp), but they are certainly acceptable.
