How will paying the deposits with the BOA card impact the various chase credit card insurances? Should I consider paying the balances with the BOA card even though the insurance benefits are generally less? I also paid for various one way flights using different cards depending on the carrier.
There is no particular specific circumstance I am concerned about, already have Medjet and may or may not get a separate medical policy. I am on the fence points wise with which card to use for the rest of the trip and this issue will sway me on the decision.
Those are good questions. I'm not sure of the answers to all of them but keep in mind that trip length can mean the difference between being covered or not for many cards. For the
CSR card, for example, with regard to cancellation coverage they state that, "No coverage will be provided for a Trip that is scheduled to last longer than sixty (60) days. If a Trip exceeds sixty (60) days in duration, We will only reimburse the pro–rated portion of any Non–Refundable pre–paid Eligible Travel Expenses up to the first sixty (60) days of the Trip." S

me items have 30 day maximums. I've got no idea what the BOA thresholds are, but you do need to check.
