Today on my flight from KRK-AMS (no, not a XP run ), some interesting observation
- a pair of pax with FB status (I could not determine which one, just noticed that they had SP) was upgraded to J, while me and my partner not (1 Plat/1Gold) - maybe it was this that we did not make the cut on this full flight
- no greetings from the purser (she had a weird attitude, like some headmistress carrying out her duties, but without too much smile). However, she did come over to Y section to wish a pax a few rows behind me when the plane was still on the ground, waiting for air traffic clearance, to wish him Happy Birthday. She also offered him, but with a strict remark, just for this exception, a meal from J-class later.

I know recently, I have been seeing quite a number of reports that KLM seems to be picking up on pax with Birthdays and not so on Plats. Maybe we should start a thread the "Birthday Effect"
