Premium Economy "O" Fare

Looking at a two segment AA flight DEL-LHR-JFK (operated by BA and AA) and the Fare Basis says OHN0OCP1, which (I assume) means it is an O fare. Is this some kind of an upgrade fare that gets you to buy economy but instantly upgrades to PE?

Then, the non-stop DEL-JFK operated entirely on AA, in PE, is also an N fare, which is an Economy class fare category as well.

Not sure what to make of this. These are good deals for sure, but also important for EQM on partners earn which is significantly lower.

Many thanks for your insights.
