Westjet observation
Sunday I flew a DL-WJ itin - DCA-DTW-YYZ-YHZ.
On Sat I got a message from DL telling me that the YYZ-YHZ flight was cancelled. I called and was assured it wasn't and I also checked the WJ www sit and it wasn't cancelled but delayed 3 hours.
And DL wouldn't allow an online check-in.
Sun morning I get email from WJ with a $15 e-voucher for food at YYZ because of the delay. Nicely done.
DL could check me in at DCA but not issue the WJ boarding pass.
Last year flying a similar WJ connection via YYC, as I recall DL was able to issue all of the boarding passes. Has something changed.
BTW, WJ premium seats, at least on a 737-7 are very comfortable!
