We did take the flight to Munich where we stayed overnight because we would have missed the flight to Boston and the gate agent for the delayed flight suggested go to CS to get our business class seats on the second leg home the following day.

We followed their advice as it was what we knew we should do. Staying in Zagreb for the flight the next day was useless. We had to clear immigration and customs in BOS to catch the last Logan Express bus to our car which was 10 miles away.
