I can’t remember if there is separation of arriving and departing passengers. If there (unlikely) it might be possible to stay at the satellite terminal and reboard. I think this is unlikely as DUB spent quite a lot to introduce arrival separation in the old 200s pier where BA currently arrive.
I believe the South Bus gates are for departures only ... When arriving on those stands the passengers are just bussed straight to the main terminal from the aircraft door and don't go to the remote gates

Swissport not doing themselves too many favours at the tail end of the BA contract .. arrived from LCY Friday evening and had a 25 minute wait on stand because they had no staff or steps as there was a delayed (non BA) aircraft using them .. Aer Lingus handling may be better resourced .. Swissport has often seemed a bit stretched, particularly so recently
