I stand by my comment.

Liquors "greatly elevated"? Grey Goose vs Absolut/Smirnoff isn't a big differentiator for me. If AS had an elevated cocktail list (i.e. the Old Fashioned / Martini section), I would agree with you - but it's identical. The champagne selection at AS & AM is currently identical.
Just personal preference. I like the self-serve liquor selection, Manhattan cocktail mix, finger sandwiches (it's a British thing), crisps etc. CCR is elevated; I just still prefer the simplicity and do-it-yourself aspect of Galleries F over AS so I can pop in and pop out in between flights. I don't necessarily need the towering ceilings, bling, tons of staff (doing what?), etc of AS if the food/drinks are good. (I do admit the hot food buffet at Galleries F LHR is pretty dismal).
Good to know, I've only been in the AM Garden once and was rushed so didn't notice the bar. I for some reason always end up in AM South. I've got AS access on my next several itineraries so won't get a chance anytime soon but will keep in mind later in the year.
Agree with you about Grey Goose, but their whiskey selection is certainly better in AS as are many of the non-vodka liquors. Personally I much prefer Tanqueray No. 10 and Bulldog to the gin in AM. It's interesting since the BKK Premium Lounge has Tanqueray No. 10 but AM in DOH doesn't.
