At the airport check in the agent offered to me emergency exit row seats as a star gold. I've declined and kept my original seats. During take off and landing I like to have my camera handy and I don't know if the Thai crew is tough on this things like the ME carriers are. During check in, I didn't see emergency exit row as option to select. If you can't get it online, try going early for your flight and ask for the seats. If they tell you not for free then you can inquire about the price at the desk.
