Greetings. I seem to be getting conflicting information on using my Global Upgrades.
Looking for 2 Global Upgrades to business, CDG-DFW on Air France, (wife's preference) or KLM on either September 17,18, 19. and DFW-CDG either December 17,18,19. We will use DL if necessary. both directions.
1. What class of Service/fare code should we buy to get upgraded to business on AF/KLM?
2. Should I call Delta (again)? 3 agents didn't seem to know much about GU's. Or should I call AF or KLM directly?

1. You would need to buy a Premium Economy ticket to be able to upgrade to Business. For AF-operated and AF-marketed flights you need to buy W, A, or S tickets to upgrade to Z class; for AF-operated/DL-marketed flights, you need to buy either P,A, or G tickets to upgrade to Z.
2. You need to call Delta to deal with this since they are Delta certs.
Right now, checking expertflyer, it looks like CDG-DFW on the AF nonstop is available on 9/19 with Z6 inventory; for DFW-CDG in December, Z is available on 12/17 (Z7) and 12/18 (Z7)
