I have 50,000 Avios in my own account and 60,000 in my spouse's account. Qatar wouldn't let me create a family account with my spouse because "Nominated person is already registered as Main Member in Privilege Club." If I cannot directly "transfer" this from BA to QR Avios, is there any way to make a family account with QR where I have access to both mine and my wife's Avios as one (as in I can redeem 110,000 Avios at once through QRPC?)
2. Do BA and QR not share the same award space anymore? I may be mistaken but I thought QRPC and BAEC shared the same award inventory? The issue here is that BA doesn't show available award seats for the QR flight I wish to book (those seats are available on QR's award search).
tldr I am able to combine Avios with my wife on BA but unable to put those Avios to use. Is there any way to use the combined Avios balance on QR Privilege Club?
If availability is not the issue i would buy or even better "boost" your BAEC avios.
