Yes this is true there was a 2+ year backlog for new aircraft seats shortly after the pandemic. The ex-LATAM 35Hs which first entered service in 2022 are finally going to start getting modded to match the standard DL 359 this fall. I assume the ex-Lion Air/Batik 739s which were delivered around the same time period will start mods in the fall as well. DL has always scheduled aircraft mods to take place in the fall/spring to take advantage of less demand.
