The 332s are not coming back. Or do you mean a 787 on PHL-SFO? And there are no plans to base XLRs in BOS, so SFO-BOS is highly unlikely. AA has said that the XLRs will be based primarily at JFK and PHL, and some in CLT. And maybe some in ORD. That doesn’t mean they can’t fly BOS-SFO, but it will be extremely unlikely.
Agree that the 332s are not returning. I was getting at the fact that there is a history of flying lie-flat’s on tcon’s out of PHL so it wouldn’t surprise me if they use the XLR for that purpose. This would further support a FL.
The BOS-SFO flight is wishful thinking, though I’d expect them to continue to at least support BOS-LAX.
