Am very much in agreement with you here.
On their own website (which, admittedly, can rarely be relied upon as a source of the very latest / accurate information), BA themselves make great play of their First class product, describing it in glowing terms as ‘
The Finest Experience’, including a paragraph which specifically references facilities offered by the Concorde Room …… “
our most luxurious first class lounge. It’s exclusive to London Heathrow Terminal 5, with discreet booths, full waiter service, private cabanas…….”
An asterisk to show that the cabanas might not actually be available to passengers flying in F would hardly create the best impression for any traveller weighing the benefits of booking a seat in the top cabin.

Could be wrong …… but was there not a mention of such an initiative buried somewhere within the (revolutionary) £7bn transformation plan ……. ?
