With TV at home, or in the office, or seat back entertainment if I hear something that piques my interest I can just look up and pay attention to that for however long it holds my interest, the go back to whatever I was doing.
With PDE playback, if it's an experience that even supports playback when it isn't in the foreground I hear something then I have to figure out and switch to whatever window/tab/app it's playing in then get back to where I was (which on the curse side of ADHD usually winds up with me spending at least some time in a different place on the way back)
Running a laptop and iPad simultaneously on a tray table even in F is at best challenging and at worst an exercise in oragami-inspired performance art, but it in Polaris it's a lot more doable... The setback is nice and out of the way.
Similarly live TV is far less stale than the entertainment offerings on AVOD and potentially more actually useful (in the form of live news)... But I the seat back screen is far more important to me. And I also realize that I'm "limited edition" (not weird, darn it
