My first time visiting the BER SEN lounge, and I thought it one of the nicest I’ve been to, possibly due to me being on a 7 a.m. flight with very few people there. It still had that “new lounge look and smell”. Wireless mobile phone chargers throughout the lounge a nice touch. Wondering how many of the model airplanes they have on display have been nicked?

That said, what is with the stairs and elevators? A near brand new airport (which I think overall quite lovely) and still no design sense to help with the flow of people. Why not escalators? Not only to the lounge but to the gates to catch buses to the stand positions.
