Oh my gosh no. I'm a top 50 guest at the Kissel (or so they tell me) and a big fan of the staff, but sorry, the breakfast does not compare. And the coffee is awful. Centric MV was a very decent breakfast, I'll agree with that. But HR Downtown/SOMA buffet quality is incredible. Great variety of fruit, including mango, berries, kiwi, grapefruit, pineapple. Excellent smoked fish and charcuterie. Fresh squeezed grapefruit and OJ. Absolutely amazing bacon. Kouign Amann is better than you'll get in most specialty bakeries. I could go on and on. I am super picky. It is a superb buffet.
