We have an award ticket JFK-IST-KTM with an 8 hour layover in IST.
Unfortunately our plans have changed and we can't go to KTM anymore, flights were purchased with miles before the devaluation so dont want to cancel them, so we're planning on deboarding in IST and skipping the flight to KTM.
I'm planning on buying a separate TK eco cash ticket to another European destination - I know that risks flagging it in TK's system as a dupe flight, but hoping we get away with it.
We'll have carry on only to do this and hope we can just transfer on arrival/not have to go through immigration.
Does TK allow OLCI for IST-Europe flights? Or will we need to visit a transit desk and hope we can get our boarding pass without raising any flags about the dupe bookings?
