Booked partner Avios ticket, Avios hasn’t been taken out of my account
Hey all,
Booked a BA reward ticket on AA metal yesterday morning. Was a bit of a hassle since it was for my partner and the website kept on crashing so had to call BA. Eventually got a rep to make the booking, and got a BA PNR and ticket number (and an AA PNR). Says ticketed all good on the AA app. My credit card was also charged the taxes and fees. However, the Avios still hasn’t left my account and it’s been over 24 hours. This hasn’t ever happened to me when booking BA partner awards. Should I be concerned there will be subsequent issues with the ticket? Another problem is there isn’t availability anymore for the route. I’d love to hear if this has happened to anyone else or any advice. Thanks.
