However, the banker was not able to see CSP as an option for me while applying for a credit card. They asked to me to call the Sapphire line which I did. The rep said that he’s not sure why that’s happening and recommended I apply online.

Looking for advise / data points on:
1. Any reason why the banker is not able to CSP as an option for me?
2. Since the banker did not see CSP as an option, is there a possibility that my online CSP application will be denied or require additional processing?

Thanks!
Found the work around for this scenario after getting some data points on Reddit. Ask the banker to apply for the card through a ‘guest profile’. Once the application is approved, it can be merged with your existing Chase profile.

Application through guest profile and merging is a seamless process.

I got approved instantly and can see the card in my chase profile.

Hope this helps!
