I specifically mentioned the location of bottles spread across two checked bags to the secondary guy. I also mentioned that I declared the items to the first person and wasn't trying to escape duty charges. I asked about the warming, and instead of answering, he just stated again that he was giving me a warning and that I would have to pay duty next time. None of it made sense. A plane had also just arrived from Cabo, but even if I had gone to Cabo to buy tequila (which for some reason seemed to be a focus for him; even after I mentioned my trip was to the UK he asked if I was bringing back tequila!), I still don't see the problem. Mainly, my concern now is that I am somehow flagged since he spent a lot of time at his keyboard.
