Why is BA website/infrastructure so afraid and sensitive about when people connect using ways that safeguard their privacy like VPNs and iCloud Private Relay?

Other airlines, like American Airlines, United Airlines and Air Canada don't seem to care or put hurdles on people connecting to their website that way.

It also sounds like BA isn't bothered to upgrade its computing resources to handle all the traffic their website receives, so they put hurdles and restrictions to slow down the traffic on their website
