Gifting cards is best done the day after their card expiry. So in the case of your wife, gifting the status on the 1st June 2024 would see her status valid until April 30th 2026 (previously this would have been 31st May 2026 but the new collection year changes this).
Didn't know the pax couldn't be changed - that's a shame! Oh well, I had no other use for those Jokers so better that they came to some use than none.
